Spider-man 3 is the 3rd film in the spider-man saga and it is planned for a release on May 4, 2007. The movie will be directed by the previous 2 Spider-men movie, Sam Raimi. Tobey Maguire, Kristen Dunst, James Franco, Dylan Baker and J.K Simmons are the confirmed returning cast members from the previous 2 Spider-men film.
The filming for Spider-man 3 had BEGUN on Jan 2006, however, certain preliminary test photopraphy was said to hav begun as early as September 2005.
It been reported that this film budget was $300 million, Spider-Man 3 will be the most expensive film ever made, breaking X-Men: The Last Stand's budget record of $210 million.
The filming take place at New York City and a portion of the downtown Cleveland during April/May 2006.
Thomas Haden Church will play flint Marko aka Sandman. Topher Grace, known for his lead role in the comedy TV show That 70s Show, will play a photo-journalist, Eddie Brock aka Venom.
Bryce Dallas Howard will also make her debut in the 3rd film as Gwen Stacy. James Cromwell will appear in the film as Gwen's father, Police Captain George Stacy.

Venom will be in the film, and that he expected to appear pretty much like the comic book version.
James Franco's character, Harry Osborn, is expected to be the 2nd Green Goblin or perhaps the 'Hobgoblin'. Harry Osborn becomes the 2nd Green Goblin (a.k.a Green Goblin II) in most comic book adaptations in which he is featured, although he was the Hobgoblin in one Ultimate Spider-Man adaptation. The first Green Goblin, played by Willem Dafor, was the villain in the 1st movie and was also the father of Franco's character.
Director Sam Raimi has stated that this movie will stray the most from the comic books and has hinted at the possibility that Franco may not become a supervillain at all. Rumors have surface of Harry becoming a 'good Goblin' shortly before dying at the end of the film. It has also been confirmed by Franco that this will be the last Spider-Man movie his character will be in.
